Last updated: March 1, 2025
This Privacy Policy applies to Faceless Lab (the "App"). Welcome to Faceless Lab. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Faceless Lab app, including our use of YouTube API Services, LinkedIn APIs, and Meta (Facebook & Instagram) platforms.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, payment information, and any content you create (scripts, videos, images). We also collect usage data and cookies to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve our AI video generation service, process payments, communicate with you, and ensure the security of our platform.
3. Google and YouTube Data
If you connect your YouTube account to publish videos, we access Google user data through the YouTube Data API. This section describes how we access, use, store, and protect that data. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our use of YouTube API Services is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Data We Collect
When you connect YouTube, we collect: your YouTube channel ID and channel name, profile thumbnail, and OAuth tokens (access token and refresh token) needed to upload videos to your channel on your behalf. The data we collect is limited to what you provide and what is necessary to enable video publishing.
How We Use Google User Data
We use Google user data solely to provide the services you request: to upload videos you create to your YouTube channel, manage your connected accounts, and refresh tokens when needed. We will not use your Google user data for any other purpose, including targeted advertising, selling to data brokers, training AI models, or any use unrelated to providing or improving our application's functionality.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to third parties for advertising, resale, or any purpose other than providing our service. We do not share your data with data brokers, information resellers, or for purposes such as credit-worthiness, lending, or personalized advertisements.
Data Protection
We implement security procedures and encryption to protect the confidentiality of your Google user data. Tokens are stored securely and accessed only when needed to perform actions you have authorized.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your Google user data for as long as your account is connected and for a reasonable period thereafter for backup and audit purposes. You may disconnect your YouTube account at any time in your account settings; upon disconnection, we stop using your tokens for new requests. You can also revoke our access to your YouTube data at any time through your Google Account permissions. You may request deletion of your stored data by contacting us. When the retention period expires, we will delete or destroy the data.
4. LinkedIn Data
If you connect your LinkedIn account to publish videos, we use LinkedIn's APIs to access your profile and post on your behalf. Our use of LinkedIn data is subject to LinkedIn's Privacy Policy and User Agreement. We collect your LinkedIn member ID, profile information (e.g. name), and OAuth tokens solely to publish videos you create to your LinkedIn feed. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for advertising or other purposes. You can disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time in your account settings.
5. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Data
If you connect Facebook or Instagram to publish Reels, we use Meta's APIs (Facebook Login) to access your Page and Instagram Business account data. Our use of Meta data is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and Instagram's Terms of Use. We collect Page IDs, Instagram Business account IDs, usernames, and access tokens solely to publish videos you create to your Facebook Page or Instagram account. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for advertising or other purposes. You can disconnect Facebook and Instagram at any time in your account settings.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., payment processors, AI providers) under strict confidentiality agreements. We do not transfer or disclose your information to third parties for purposes other than providing or improving our services.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption and secure storage. Your content and personal information are accessed only when necessary to provide the service.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage your connected accounts (YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and others) and preferences in your account settings. You may revoke our access to your YouTube data through your Google Account permissions. You may disconnect LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram in account settings. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
9. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
